Kolkata-based designer Ajay Arya’s A Square Designs is one of the most sought-after among the city’s elite for its richly detailed, art-filled luxe interiors. They have recently unveiled elegant bedrooms defined by calming palettes full of textural flair.

Chic and luxurious, these bedrooms embody neutral environments that come alive with geometric patterns, tonal variations and loads of textures. Carefully selected furniture pieces add elegance and comfort.
This master bedroom is done up in white and blue. A sunburst panelling behind the bed creates a focal point. There is a curved sofa in the corner. Since the room has windows all around, there was no space for mounting the TV and hence the designer has installed a console at the footboard with a pop-up TV that can be hidden when not needed, using automation. Home automation is by Schneider.
The master bedroom features a nice, hard herringbone wooden flooring, and all furniture is in solid wood, Burma teak, specially handcrafted by Ochre at Home. The wardrobe shutters have woven silk on the shutters. The colour tone of the statement chair, as also the bed linen and curtains is matched with the Sabyasachi wallpaper on the bed’s back wall.
