1. Purpose
This Content Policy sets the standards for all content published on www.re-thinkingthefuture.com and for all material submitted to Rethinking The Future (“RTF”) — articles, essays, project features, images, drawings, videos, comments and programme entries (“Submitted Content”). It forms part of our Terms of Use.
2. Originality and rights
You may only submit content that you created or hold full rights to use. Before submitting, you must secure every permission needed for worldwide publication — including from clients, project collaborators, photographers and any identifiable individuals. Sources must be cited; plagiarism in any form leads to removal and exclusion from RTF platforms. Photographer, author and collaborator credits are published as supplied by you, and their accuracy is solely your responsibility.
3. Prohibited content
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark or any other third-party right;
- content that misrepresents authorship, a project’s status (built/concept), location, client or the author’s role;
- unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, violent or harassing material;
- spam, hidden links, malware or undisclosed promotional material;
- AI-generated text or imagery presented as human-authored work or as photographs of built projects — AI-assisted material must be truthfully identified.
4. Editorial rights
RTF may edit, retitle, crop, translate, reformat, excerpt, schedule, decline or remove any content at its sole discretion, for editorial, technical or legal reasons, without notice and without being required to give reasons. Publication on RTF does not imply endorsement of any person, firm, product or project. Sponsored or partner content is identified as such.
5. Republishing RTF content
Content published on RTF may not be reproduced or republished elsewhere without our prior written permission, beyond brief quotations with a link and credit to RTF.
6. Corrections and takedown requests
If you believe content on this Website infringes your rights, or you need a factual correction to a published credit, contact us via the Website contact form (or [email protected] for awards content) with the page link, your relationship to the content, and supporting evidence. We review good-faith requests promptly; the decision whether and how to act rests with RTF. Where content was published based on information supplied by a contributor or participant, that person remains responsible for claims arising from it.
7. Consequences of breach
Content breaching this Policy may be removed, and the contributor may be excluded from RTF platforms and programmes, including cancellation of awards participation under the awards Terms & Conditions, without refund. Unlawful content may be reported to the relevant authorities.
