Zerega Avenue Emergency Medical Services Building

This project involves the construction of a new EMS facility for the Fire Department, specifically designed for EMS operations. The building must be designed to accommodate an apparatus floor sized for one SUV and eight ambulances, with one bay doubling as a decontamination area, together with male and female toilet and locker rooms, office space, a pantry/eating area, fitness room, training room, store rooms including oxygen storage, and mechanical and electrical rooms. Exterior parking for employees and two ambulances is part of the program. The total building area is estimated to be 13,500 square feet. There are exterior program elements including plantings, paving, parking, fencing, and lighting totaling over 8500 square feet.
