“You see the piece of paper
Could be a little greater
Show me what you could make her
You’ll never know until you try it
And you don’t have to keep it quiet
And I know it makes you nervous
But I promise you, it’s worth it
To show ’em everything you kept inside
Don’t hide, don’t hide
Too shy to say, but I hope you stay
Don’t hide away

Come out and play.” — Billie Eilish

Deemed as ordinary by most elites, Billie Eilish in her interview to James Corden during a segment for the Late Late Show admitted that living with her parents still has humbled her in more ways than she realizes. This Billie Eilish house is 1208 sq. ft in Highland Park, LA was bought by the family in 2002 for $240,000. Currently estimated at $800,000 the house comprises a 2-bedroom hall and a kitchen and one toilet. Originally built in the typical housing typology seen throughout LA in 1912 the house has not lost its rustic charm.

Coming from a musical background with Billie’s mother being a voice actor and father being a musician the siblings grew up with 3 pianos in the house. Speaking to AWAL, Finneas revealed that their parents were kind enough to let the 2 siblings have the two bedrooms while they slept on a futon in the living room. While giving a tour of the house Billie revealed that her debut album “Where do we go, when we fall asleep “was recorded in her brother’s makeshift studio in his bedroom. One of the walls has the original list of tracks to her debut album written on them. Every nook and corner of this house is filled with nostalgia and music which seems like the very reason Billie is still living in her childhood home.

She shares an inseparable bond with her brother Finneas whose contribution to her music career has been momentous. A singer-songwriter and record producer himself, Finneas recently invested in two luxurious properties.

Given the kind of bond the siblings share, it is inevitable that Billie Eilish might move out and use Finneas’ luxury properties for their music-making process. Billie is here to stay and made it evident with her sophomore album “Happier than Ever “and might even buy her own luxury property in the near future.
