1. The Leça Swimming Pool
The Leça Swimming Pools were one of Alvaro Siza’s first solo projects.Siza was careful to preserve a large portion of the existing rock formations when planning his modern interventions into the landscape. The pools he created reach out into the ocean and blend easily with the natural pool formations along the coast of the Atlantic.
2. Iberê Camargo Foundation
By means of compressions and decompression, openings and closings, volumes, voids and light, the Portuguese architect marks the paths, points of view, and perspective of the passage of time.
3. Amore Pacific Research & Design Center

4. Expo’98 Portuguese National Pavilion
At the Expo ’98 Portuguese National Pavilion, structure and architectural form work in graceful harmony. Situated at Tagus River in Lisbon, Portugal, the design is an enormous and impossibly thin concrete canopy, between two mighty porticoes and framing a commanding view of the water.
5. Bonjour Tristesse
It was the architect’s first completed building outside of Portugal. Before the building’s construction, the site held several single-story retail stores. The building was constructed as social housing primarily for Turkish immigrants to Germany.
6. New Orleans (Rotterdam)
It is currently the tallest residential building (and second tallest building overall) in the Netherlands. Consist of residential area with swimming pool, saunas and gym for residents as well as commercial area with cinema Lantaren Venster.

10. Auditorium of the University of the Basque Country
It houses the auditorium of the UPV / EHU , complementing the Library of the University of Deusto , designed by Rafael Moneo . With an L shape, its main façade is covered with hand-made gray tiles, highlighting the rest in white marble. Surrounding the building, in addition to the library, the Iberdrola Tower , the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and Euskadi Square .
