Coordination Asia have recently completed their latest collaboration with Gaga restaurants and cafés, that’s housed inside a historic villa in the heart of Shanghai, China.

Built in the late 19th century, the villa was once a Christian girls’ school, however it is now a bright and welcoming cafe and restaurant, spread out over two floors.

The cafe area is located on the main floor, with a service counter on one side of the open plan room, and a seating area on the opposite side.

Dark blue walls match the dark blue banquette seating that wraps around the seating area, creating a striking contrast to the white walls and ceiling.

Also on the first floor is a bar area with black accent walls that match the black chairs, and dramatic lamella lighting on the ceiling.
