12. Vladimir Tatlin

Vladimir Tatlin was a pivotal figure in the Soviet avant-garde art movement in 1920 and the start of the Constructivism movement in Russia. The Russian architect, painter, and stage-designer gained fame to the design of the Tatlin’s Tower. The structure of steel, iron, and glass was intended to be taller than the Eiffel Tower. Tatlin created sculptures, contradicting the traditional ideas of art, including some 3D structures of wood and metal.

13. Ettore Sottsass’s

Ettore Sottsass was an Italian designer and architect of the 20th century. He specialized in an array of work including furniture, home objects like lighting, jewelry, office machine design, interiors, and building. He created this in 1976, for the exhibition on radical architecture in Bologna, Italy.

14. Renzo Piano

Renzo Piano’s style of architecture is a combination of philosophy and materials, theory, and practice. Renzo Piano’s sketches are holistic expressions of his idea of buildings, sections with natural elements like trees or the sun. His sketches are a combination of art and technical drawing put together, sometimes focusing on certain details, sometimes explaining a concept, and sometimes on a complete vision of the project. 15. Chamberlin, Powell, and Bon

Chamberlin, Powell, and Bon worked on the Barbican Centre for nearly 30 years from 1950 to 1982. This example of Brutalism is the most dynamic and iconic cultural hub in London. 17. BIG

Bjarke Ingels, formed the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), gaining fame after the design of Orestad: VM House and Mountain Dwellings. Bjarke Ingels won many competitions, resulting in uniquely crafted and well-integrated designs. He has been awarded as one of the 100 Most Influential People by Time Magazine in 2016, and also Innovator of the Year for architecture by the Wall Street Journal in 2011. Snohetta is an Oslo-Norway-based firm creating architecture to serve people, and experiences of a lifetime. They create renderings indicating their vision, which are showcased in journals and magazines Their trans-disciplinary process involves different working professionals- architects, artists, philosophers, sociologists- who work together exploring a project through different perspectives. They create the renders for the Paris Headquarters of newspaper Le Monde, the exterior glass matrix can regulate the interior temperature and lighting levels.
