Lattice Studio is an architectural proposal for a publishing studio based in Seoul, South Korea. While the upper floors of the studio are only allowed to staffs and clients associated with the publishing business, the lower floors are opened to the general public who are willing to read and purchase books. The exterior lattice frames were motivated to resemble wooden bookshelves and these successive frames can also be used as actual bookshelves in the upper studio space. This frame is supported and contrasted by circular sequences of white boards in the main bookstore space.
